The Core

So once again I'm free
but you see right through me
to the core
once more

Your eyes won't leave my head
staring down the things I've said
and watching me
alone
and on my own
our own
we're on our own

The sun burst o'er the field
the wind blows true, a wheel
that's turning me
around

A path, a road, a sign
reaching out through time
and calling me
back home
no more to roam
back home
we're going home

So once again I'm free
and you see right through me
no more
