I hired Tobin's band, Turning Point, to perform at our company's annual crab feast. Tobin and the band proved to be easy to work with and provided excellent music throughout the evening, demonstrating skilled musicianship by switching gears seamlessly from rock to country to Motown. The true gauge of how a band performs is the dance floor, and Turning Point had them out of their seats all night. Everyone at the crab feast had a great time, and I would not hesitate to hire them again. Tony Collini

Tobin started playing rock guitar at 15 and later went to school to study music with an emphsasis on classical and fingerstyle guitar. After graduating, he lived in various places, played in many bands and wandered the country, playing music and exploring.
The [now-defunct] Chesapeake Flute and Guitar Duo is a first rate ensemble that plays with passion and excitement. Their vast repertoire ranging from classical to jazz allows them to provide programs that are interesting and entertaining for all listeners. I highly recommend them. Tobin provided excellent music for our church service, proving a deft hand at both Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and a John Fahey fingerstyle interpretation of In Christ There Is No East or West! Both pieces worked wonderfully in their places in the service. I would recommend Tobin for any musical performance, no matter the context or configuration. Linda Custer

Tobin, we love hearing you play guitar. But if you insist on singing we're going to have to raise your rent. Former landlord
